Course Description
This class is an introduction to the Defensive Handgun class series. In this class, you will build on the foundation for proper Defensive Shooting Fundamentals. This class will allow students to understand the factors involved in carrying and using a firearm in a defensive situation which including Safety Concerns, Efficient and Effective use of resources, Emergency reloads and a balance of speed and precision. Multi live fire drills will be used to develop and reinforce the skills.
What to Bring
Firearm and ammunition
- 250 – 300 rounds of ammunition
- Handgun and at least three magazines
- Handguns and ammunition are available for rental and purchase at the range desk.

Equipment
- Heavy Belt with holster and magazine holders
