Course Description
This is the Delaware approved Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon course. By taking this course you will meet the necessary requirements of classroom and hands on instruction for your concealed weapons application. The students will participate in classroom instruction for Delaware CCW Requirements to include; Gun Owner Responsibilities, Safe Handling of Firearms, Proper storage of Firearms and Ammunition, Causes of Firearms Accidents, Maintaining Firearms Skills, Laws related to Firearms use of Deadly Force, Mental Preparation, Proper weapon selection, Avoiding Conflict and Violent situations. Hands on, Live Fire training is also a requirement which will include; Range Safety, shooting fundamentals, clearing malfunctions, and 100 round course of fire.
What to Bring
Firearm and ammunition
- Handgun
- We recommend a semi-automatic but revolvers are also allowed
- We also recommend you bring the firearm you plan to carry
- 100 rounds of ammunition
- A minimum of 2 magazines for semi-automatic and 2 speed loader for revolvers
- Hearing and Eye Protection
Equipment
Students will need the below items for class:
- Hearing and Eye Protection
- We recommed soft ears under electronic muffs for the indoor range
- Appropriate range clothing to include a crew neck type shirt
Best Shot has all the above items for sale or rent if needed.

Please remember that weapons for class or to be fired on our range are to be brought in unloaded and in a case.
