Course Description
This course is designed for people who are new to shooting shotguns or are interested in developing the skills necessary to purchase and safely handle them. This course is designed from a defensive shooting perspective.
Shotgun I is intended to teach all the fundamentals of shotgun shooting starting at the ground level and culminating in a 25 shell live fire shoot. We will cover the universal safety rules to safely handle firearms and the basics of defensive shotgun shooting including grip, stance, sight picture, trigger press, emergency and tactical reloads.

Firearm and ammunition
- Shotgun setup for defensive use including sling
- 25 shells of bird shot, 10 buck shot shells
Equipment
- Eye and Hearing Protection
- Gloves for heat protection
