This course is designed for new concealed carry holders that want to take their knowledge and skills beyond the minimum requirements to obtain a CCDW and learn to safely draw from concealment.
Course Description
*****This is not a Basic Concealed Carry Course*****
This course is held at Best Shot and combines classroom training with live fire on our range. Whether you’re a new concealed carrier or you’ve been carrying for years, this course is designed to take your knowledge and skills beyond the minimum requirements to obtain a CCDW. In this course. we’ll review and expand upon the appropriate use of force. We’ll also talk about the need for a good quality holster; discuss holster types, carry locations and teach the appropriate steps of a proper holster draw from concealment. The class will culminate on the range where we will have you drawing your handgun from concealment first with dry fire and culminating with live-fire from a concealed holster.
Prerequisites
Current concealed carry holder, or
Completion of CCDW Class
What to Bring
Firearm and ammunition
- Concealed Carry Handgun
- 100 rounds of ammunition with at least three magazines
Equipment
- Holster
- OWB or IWB designed for concealed carry
- Holster must retains its shape with the firearm removed (i.e. kydex preferred)
- Trigger must be covered when the handgun is holstered
- Cover Garment
- Eye and hearing protection

Please remember that weapons for class or to be fired on our range are to be brought in unloaded and in a case.
